A bit about me-

I am a Mixed-Indigenous Iskwew- Mother & grandmother- (Dene/ Cree-Metis x Scottish/ Danish Canadian) born and raised in the northern village of Fort St. James, BC. My art is about culture, relating to our Creator and Co-Creation, Land, Love and Northern Stories. With each piece I attempt to process or express my own awe, compassion and appreciation and I hope it inspires some of that for you. I am always mindful of our cultural ecosystems - how we and all Creation are connected and that what we put 'out there' impacts what we see and feel within; I often highlight a wisdom, feeling or insight from the stories I witness as I travel about learning from and helping others.

Today, I am a practicing Artist and Therapist with a thriving studio and ceremony lodge dedicated to person-centered wellness through language & cultural revitalization, trauma therapy, hypnotherapy and Intentional Creativity. I regularly travel home to the North to share these gifts, helping to nurture holistic health in Fort St James and surrounding remote communities.
